Christina designed and implemented an innovative educational activity on marine plastic pollution, focusing on abandoned, lost, or otherwise discarded fishing gear (ALDFG) from aquaculture. This program was successfully delivered across eight university faculties in Greece, raising awareness and equipping students with knowledge about the environmental impacts of marine plastic waste and sustainable solutions. The activity combined interactive learning with actionable insights, fostering a deeper understanding of marine conservation challenges and strategies.
